Tom Pugh has a First in Art history and works as a copywriter and speechwriter for a London-based public affairs firm, an international auction house and a Japanese publisher. He lives in Berlin.
While researching his first novel he followed the route taken by Matthew Longstaff, the book's main protagonist, from Moscow to western Europe. The first volume of the acclaimed Longstaff Trilogy, The Devil's Library was published by Crux in 2016 and the second volume, The Golden Cage was published in
